Carnival
Castle Carrock Carnival has taken place every year for generations, usually towards the end of June. There is always a procession by the children and the carnival queen is crowned too.
In 2019, the theme was 'The Beach'. We had a real sandy beach on the Marr, there was fancy dress for children and adults, live music from the Brampton Silver band and from Castle Carrock's very own The D'Ukes, Punch and Judy, an obstacle course, a bouncy castle, a big tractor to clamber over, ice cream, lots of stalls, lots of tug of war and the delicious teas of The Watson Institute. There was also a bbq outside the Duke in the evening.
